Brief about me and people in my world!

I stole this idea for a bio from Manda aka rubyfirefly. But it seems like such an awesome idea!


My name is Joy Danielle. My family and friends from high school call me Joy. Friends from college and work call me Danielle. I will answer to Dee or Dani. I was born in Shreveport, La nearly 30 years ago. Thats in the nothern part of the state, nowhere near New Orleans. I actually grew up in a small little town, Elm Grove.

I have one brother, John and one sister, Janna. John is married to Kathy and they have four children. Bailie is their oldest and is my little mini me. She is responsible and sweet! Emma is their second child. Her full name gets used alot! Caleb is their first son, he is a cutie! He can smile and melt your heart. Elias, is the newest addition, born August 22. More on his personlity to come! Janna is married to Robbie and they have one son, Daniel. I see Daniel everyday and he call me, "My Joy". He is such a wonderful little guy!

I have attended many colleges. I went to Texas AM University Commerce, Bossier Parish Community College, Louisiana State University Shreveport, Northwestern State University and Louisiana Tech. Acutally, I went to the school is Texas twice, the community college twice, and Northwestern twice. LOL

At TAMUC I met Bekah and Misty who are my best friends. Bekah and I were in Kappa Delta together. Misty and I bonded over ice cream sandwiches!!!!

I graduated from La Tech in 2002 with a BS in Marketing. I met many friends along the way! Manda - who is one of my best friends. We originally met in a Management class. She didnt like me. I worked in the same office she did on campus. She didnt like me! But somewhere along the way she changed her mind, and invited me to join the business fraternity she was in.

Bonnie - another best friend. She is lives in Dallas and dates Clark. She is one of the funniest people I know! We met in QA class.

I worked for a couple of years in retail sales and decided that I wanted to do something else with my life. I went back to school and studied nursing.

There I met Jessica. She is freakin' hillarious! One funny bathroom story after another!


I graduated with my ADN in May 07. I took boards in August, so now I'm officail! I work in the Pediatric Emergancy Room at a local hospital. I love my job! I love working with kids. I started back to school in January. I am working on my BSN, but its all online, baby!
